Fresno County Coroner’s Office Identifies Victim of Train Accident
The Fresno County Coroner’s Office has officially identified the individual who lost his life after being struck by a train in Fresno on December 30 as 27-year-old Tyler Repp, a resident of Fresno.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the incident occurred near the intersection of Shields and Van Ness avenues at approximately 6:15 p.m. on
December 30, 2024. A man and a woman were walking along the train tracks when a freight train approached, resulting in the fatal accident.
The investigation is ongoing, and no additional injuries have been reported in connection with this incident. Initial reports had incorrectly stated the victim’s age as 20.
