Tragedy Strikes New Jersey Islamic Community: Teenager Shaheer Ansari Killed in Car Accident
A devastating car accident has claimed the life of 15-year-old Shaheer Ansari, a dedicated and active member of the Islamic Society of Central Jersey (ISCJ) Weekend School. The heartbreaking news was announced by the Islamic community in Jersey through a social media alert on Thursday, January 2.
According to family friend Umber Mansoor, Shaheer passed away in the tragic accident, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and inspiration. Despite his young age, Shaheer was a pillar of his community, serving as an MYCC counselor, Quran and Me Camp counselor, Saturday Day School KG teaching assistant, and top volunteer at MCGP.
Community Mourns the Loss of a Remarkable Young Man
Shaheer’s contributions to his community have been widely acknowledged, with many remembering him as a role model for both young and old. His family, including parents Khurram Anwer Ansari and Aliya Khurram, will gather with the community on Friday, January 3, at their home in Conover Road, Millstone, NJ, to honor his memory.
